SUMMER CAMP
2024
Primarily set in our private, shaded playground, Oriole's Summer Camp offers morning programming for children aged 2 to 5.
During our camp program, we bring our indoor classroom outside. Children can paint in the fresh air, build structures in the sun, splash in water, and socialize with other children in a calm, supportive atmosphere.
Our exceptional Registered Early Childhood Educators use weekly themes to combine literacy and numeracy concepts in a fun, engaging manner.
A healthy snack will be served, and campers will take part in daily music and movement activities.
Weekly camp sessions run from June 17th-August 30th, 2024. The camp day runs from 9 am to 12 noon Monday – Friday, with a complementary early drop off beginning at 8:45am.
Our ratio is 1 adult to every 5 children, with a maximum group size of 15 children each week. You can download our info sheet here:

2. Select the weeks of attendance you would like to enroll your child on Form 3.

EMERGENCY CONTACT & MEDICAL FORM
**This form is only required if your child has not attended Oriole programming in the last 2 years**
1. MEDICAL CONSENT
I understand that in the event of an emergency, a doctor may have to treat my child when the parents/guardians cannot be contacted. I understand every effort will be made to reach the parents/ guardians. If, at any time, medical treatment is necessary due to such circumstances as an accident, sudden Illness, or emergency, I authorize that this treatment may be given to my child. I understand that any expense incurred for such treatment is my responsibility.
2. WAIVER
I waive and release Oriole Nursery School and its representatives from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action which may arise out of accident, illness, injury, or damage which may occur to the above named child or his/her property while participating in the school activities and on and off site excursions. I also assume and accept all risk, danger and hazards in connection with Oriole Nursery School.
4. NUT-FREE POLICY
Since many children have life-threatening allergies to nuts and tree nuts, Oriole Nursery School is a nut-free and tree- nut free school. Children are not permitted to bring in outside food into the school or playground. No food shall be packed in a child’s backpack or pockets. I understand and will adhere to the above policy.
3. FORMS
I agree to submit completed immunization records and all other required forms prior to my child starting school. Should the school not receive these forms, my child may not attend until they are submitted.

Prior to your child's first day of camp, please ensure to submit an immunization record for your child.
Records can be submitted in one of the following ways:

Photocopy your child's immunization record and mail to: Registrar, Oriole Nursery School, 1570 Yonge St. Toronto, ON M4T 1Z8

Scan or take a photograph of your child’s immunization record and email the document to the school's Supervisor, Heather Brown at heather@oriolenurseryschool.com

Please note: Summer Camp spaces will not be confirmed until immunization records have been submitted to the school.
