At Oriole Nursery School, our families play a vital role in the school’s operations and ongoing success. The School is administered by an elected Board of Directors and numerous volunteer committees, comprised of families with children currently enrolled in the school. All families are required to choose a Board or non-Board volunteer position that contributes to the daily management and operation of the school and its activities. Board members assist with helping to make decisions regarding policies and procedures of the school, and meet once monthly.

In 2020/2021, Toronto Public Health and the Ministry of Education imposed restrictions related to COVID-19 that prohibited Oriole from operating its participating program. Oriole intends to reinstate this program after restrictions are lifted; however, because this timing remains uncertain, Oriole is presently only offering its “non-participating program”. Families will be advised when the participating program becomes available, as applicable, and will then have the option to switch from non-participating status, with a commensurate adjustment to fees
